James is a corporate lawyer with over 25 years experience advising clients on domestic and international transactions and projects. James specialises in international energy and resources projects, particularly in the mining, electricity and oil and gas sectors. His work covers project acquisition, development, operation and financing, and regulatory advice. He has worked both in private and corporate practice.

He has worked for leading national and international law firms in Australia, England, Argentina, Singapore & Indonesia. He is a recognized expert on Indonesian mining and investment law.

James expertise includes drafting and negotiating project development and operating agreements, obtaining all required regulatory approvals and managing aspects of the multi-faceted and complex joint venture relationships.
